Brand Stewardship and Management
The Communications and Marketing team for Student Engagement and Well-Being will follow all of the editorial, brand and graphic guidelines developed and mangaed through our partners in the Institute Communications office. Information about these guidelines can be found at brand.gatech.edu. All of our team members will use these guidelines in our creation of communications and marketing content for our departments.
Content Development
Our communications team directly supports our cabinet area, divisions and departments with integrated communications strategy development, content wrinting and delivery. This includes writing for articles, newsletters, social media and SMS services.
Email Marketing
The Communications and Marketing office manages multiple newsletters for Student Engagement and Well-Being and it’s departments. These include:
- Student Engagement and Well-Being Student News: weekly emaily publication sent to all Georgia Tech Students
- Student Engagement and Well-Being Staff News: weekly email publications sent to all cabinet area staff
- Vice President for Student Engagement and Well-Being Newsletter: monthly publication distributed in the Fall and Spring of an academic year to all Georgia Tech students
In addition, we support our departments in the creation, editing and distribution of their own internal communications to their listserves and internal audiences.
Graphic Design
We support all of the departments within Student Engagement and Well-Being by producing branded graphics. Examples of our work include both print and digital publications, brochures, advertisements, campus signage and much more.
Media Relations and Crisis Communications
We work directly with the Institute Communications Media Relations team to vet and support media inquiries and story pitching. All crisis communications needs start with our senior director for communications and marketing who will coordinate inclusion of other members of our team and/or the Institute Communications team as needed.
Photography and Video Production
Our in-house team supports as many as possible of SEWB’s photography and videography needs. Large scale projecst may be shared with a licensed vendor in order to meet our departments deadlines. Our latest videos can be viewed on our YouTube Channel.

Web Development and Management
The web team is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of all Student Engagement and Well-Being websites in a manner that positively promotes the cabinet area’s identity and brand, supporting both its mission and strategic initiatives. These efforts include content development, search engine optimization, module development, security managment, analysis and more.
